I met Juan Peron, the chihuahua, at Ragged Point on Route 1 heading to Big Sur. It was foggy and cool and Juan was running around like crazy. He's a good jumper! This little fellow was rescued by his owner, Paul, who adoped him at a flea market in Santa Cruz. He'd been left behind at a migrant workers camp in Salinas in the Central Valley and brought to school by some children and he ended up in Paul's arms. Lucky amigo!!
