Randy Rarick, Executive Director of the Van's Triple Crown of Surfing, introduced John Clark to the audience. Randy and "Johnny" have been surfing together for many years; they go way back. Randy told the crowd that this event and John's new book, HAWAIIAN SURFING, were the perfect way to commence this season's big surfing waves and competition! I agree!
